The tribulation period is seven years total it is broken in
to two parts 3.5 years each the first 3.5 year tribulation period is just known
as the tribulation the second 3.5 year tribulation period is known as the great
tribulation The rapture takes place according to Mathew 24-15 which takes place
3.5 years into the 7 year tribulation period fortunately for some they get to
skip out of the second 3.5 year period known as the great tribulation. You will
not escape the first 3.5 years of the tribulation or the anti Christ. Many of the saints voluntarily
stay to assist in the defeat of the anti Christ however the Elect do not have a
choice hence the name elect. These saints and the Elect will suffer perhaps
even be martyred but they will be handsomely rewarded for there efforts. The 144000 choose to stay as well currently they are following the Lamb where ever he goes day and night. Being
raptured is the easy way out but not the best way out

1 Then said he to his disciples, [a]It cannot be avoided,
but that offences will come, but woe be to him by whom they come.
2 It is better for him that a great millstone were hanged
about his neck, and that he were cast into the sea, then that he should offend
one of these little ones.
3 ¶ [b]Take heed to yourselves: if thy brother trespass
against thee, rebuke him: and if he repent, forgive him.
4 And though he sin against thee seven times in a day, and
seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, it repenteth me, thou shalt
forgive him.
5 ¶ [c]And the Apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our
faith.
6 And the Lord said, If ye had faith, as much as is [d]a
grain of mustard seed, and should say unto this mulberry tree, Pluck thyself up
by the roots, and plant thyself in the sea, it should even obey you.

or feeding cattle, would say unto him by and by, when he were come from the
field, Go, and sit down at table,
8 And would not rather say to him, Dress wherewith I may

9 Doth he thank that servant, because he did that which was
commanded unto him? I trow not.

which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that
which was our duty to do.

passed through the midst of Samaria, and Galilee.
12 And as he entered into a certain town, there met him ten
men that were lepers, which stood afar off.
13 And they lifted up their voices and said, Jesus, Master,
have mercy on us.
14 And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go, show
yourselves unto the Priests. And it came to pass, that as they went, they were
cleansed.
15 Then one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned
back, and with a loud voice praised God,
16 And fell down on his face at his feet, and gave him
thanks: and he was a Samaritan.
17 And Jesus answered, and said, Are there not ten cleansed?
but where are the nine?
18 There is none found that returned to give God praise, save
this stranger.
19 And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way, thy faith hath
saved thee.

kingdom of God should come, he answered them, and said, The kingdom of God
cometh not with [i]observation.
21 Neither shall men say, Lo here, or lo there: for behold,

when ye shall desire to see [l]one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall

Luke 17:1 The Church is of necessity subject to offences,
but the Lord will not suffer them unpunished, if any of the least be offended.
Luke 17:3 Our reprehensions must be just, and proceed of
love and charity.

(although he be not so perfectly with them, as they would) even in those
